David Baker
Founder and Executive Director of
The Watershed Association
David Baker, a dedicated environmental leader, has protected approximately 40,000 acres in Hays County through the Watershed Association. He promotes water conservation and education through initiatives like the Cypress Creek Watershed Protection Plan, Blue Hole One Water School, and Jacob’s Well Community Garden. The Association fights for water rights and collaborates on conservation efforts. The Watershed Association has joined forces with Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association (TESPA) to hold Aqua Texas accountable for permit violations and over pumping. David will give us an update on this and other issues affecting access to water in the Wimberley Valley.
